ELASTO-BW Mecatiss Products

Description: Silicone elastomer ELASTO-BW is a flexible fire-barrier product used as radiological shielding against ionizing radiations. The material is able to accommodate large piping displacements.
It is used for sealing mechanical penetrations in walls and floors.

Characteristics:
Attenuation of gamma and X-rays (attenuation factor similar to concrete).
Fire-barrier up to 3 hrs depending on configuration (tested as per European standard EN 1366-3).
Allows extensive piping displacement without impact on the fire-barrier integrity of the penetration.
