SCC enveloppe thermal reduction of cable tray

Description: SCC envelopes allow the thermal reduction of a cable tray in case of fire. The cabling within the SCC envelope or located in the cable trays above the SCC envelope is protected from the fire and will not combust.

When the intent is to reduce the fire load of a fire area, the answer is to prevent the vertical propagation of the fire between stacked horizontal cable trays, by protecting every second cable tray. This solution also limits the number of cable trays to be protected.

Characteristics:
- Allows dissipation of « Joule effect » cabling heat in normal operating conditions
- Decontamination is possible.
- Easy and quick installation.
