935.BW Mecatiss Products

Description: Silicone foam 935.BW is a fire-barrier product used as a radiological shield against ionizing radiations.
The foam is used for sealing electrical penetrations, mechanical penetrations, wall and floor sheaths.

Characteristics:
Attenuation of Gamma- and X-rays (attenuation
factor similar to concrete)
Fire-barrier up to 3 hrs. (tested as per European
standard EN 1366-3)
Flexible material allowing the routing of an additional
feedthrough in a pre-sealed penetration.
Possible repair on sealed penetrations using leadcharged
foam.
Leaktight and easily decontaminated if surfacetreated
with MECATISS sealing product such as
SILCO weave, 75.A, TSR.750.
