SILCO WEAVE Mecatiss Products

Description: The SILCO weave is one of the constituents of the MPF system. Standing alone, the SILCO weave may be used as a smoke screen or to provide a leaktight and easily decontaminated sealing finish on mechanical and electrical penetrations as well as on joints.

Characteristics: Mechanical and leaktight protection for MPF systems. Leaktightness to water, air, smoke, hot gases. Easily decontaminated.
Washable.
Pressure resistant up to 0,3 bar.
Resistance to aggressive chemicals.
Resistance to radiations (NFT 30 903) and accidental conditions (temperature, pressure NFT 30 900 – French LOCA).

Product - 935.BC fire-barrier radiological shield against ionizing radiations.

935.BC Mecatiss Products

Description: Silicone foam 935.BC is a fire-barrier product used as a radiological shield against ionizing radiations.
The foam is used to seal electrical penetrations, mechanical penetrations, sheaths, in floors and walls.

Characteristics:
Gamma and X-ray attenuation (attenuation factor similar to concrete).

Fire-barrier up to 3 hrs (tested as per European standard EN 1366-3).

Flexible product allowing the routing of an additional feedthrough in a pre-sealed penetration.

Easily decontaminated and leaktight after an appropriate surface treatment with a MECATISS product such as SILCO weave, 75.A, TSR.750.
